Pin Hole Camera Instructions

Step 1: (this is from the very beginning, in case some of you are having to make yours over.)

Two strips.

1 is 18 inches long and six inches wide. This will be your inner box.

the 2nd one is 18 and 5/8s long and 4 inches wide. This will be your outer box.

2. Measure 18x6 strip into four sections 4"5"4"5" and score each of these sections so that the box will fold better. Then fold the box and tape the end, and then tape each fold so that no light will get through.

3. Measure 18 and 5/8 x4 inch strip into four sections: 4 and 5/32, 5 and 5/32, 4 and 5/32 and 5 and /5/32 again score each section and tape well.

4. Front: score small hole in front, about 1/4 inch square, small blue "lens" is taped behind this, on the black side (inside) and pin hole punched. Five 3/4 inch strips (about 2.5 inches long) of cardboard are cut. Put the first two strips about 3/4 inches apart on either side of your lens, and then cut a small sliver 3/4 inches wide and about 1/8 thick to place between the strips. The shutter is constructed out of 3/4 inch cardboard, with a 1/8 inch thick grip glued to the top. On either side place another 3/4 inch piece in a stair case fashion and glue down. Your shutter slides in between.

Tape down. This piece may still need to be cut, if so place camera on top with the shutter in the middle and trace around, then cut, then tape, tape, tape it down so that no light will be able to get through.

5. Back, trace camera on back, cut and tape, tape tape!

Here are my (late once again) pictures. I don't know what the assignment is, in your post you didn't say and I left class ASAP once the door opened (Study Hall!)
Anyway, I think I am supposed to get landscapes, so here they are

I took these pics down by a pond near my house. The first pic was around 7am, then 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and for the last one I waited too late(around 9:30pm)so it was way to dark. Okay just figured out these go backwards...lol The bottom one is the first pic, and then they're in order. Sorry!! :)
