This is a letter my grandpa wrote to my grandma two months before they married in 1957. My grandpa was visting family in Tennessee and explained that he told his dad, mom and sister about their engagement. He wrote saying the family was glad they were getting married and that my grandma would be welcomed with open arms. The letter came to a quick close because he only brought one piece of paper with him. :) Also, the stamp on the envelope cost only 3 cents!!
